A small misunderstanding can be cleared up today as Dumb Times sheds light on the behavior of two attendees of the recent National Policy Institute conference in Washington DC.
To the uninformed it may appear that these two individuals were giving nazi salutes. In fact, Dumb Times can now reveal, the two men in question are undercover FBI agents, both of whom suffer from ulnar nerve disorders that cause their fingers to remain straight at all times.
At the time of the photograph a butterfly, possibly a rare Pepellion butterfly, had passed over the head of speaker Richard Spencer just as he said ‘mail Trump (a letter)’.
The FBI agents, butterfly enthusiasts both, excited by the appearance of the rare Pepellion, pointed at the fascinating insect. Unfortunately, their ulnar nerve disorders meant they could only point with their whole outstretched hands, an action which looked a bit like a Nazi salute.
An alternative explanation that supposes the presence of one or two Nazis at the conference is rejected by us at Dumb Times as utterly preposterous.
