The UK’s Religious leaders, including former archbishop and radical beardy Marxist Rowan Williams, have joined forces to produce and publish a fictional account of the advantages of remaining in the EU. Their cloud-cuckoo-land letter, published in student paper The Observer, suggests that the EU is ‘vital to preserving peace, fighting poverty and tackling the migration crisis.’
The fiction-loving leaders say they hope people will reflect “on whether undermining the international institutions charged with delivering these goals could conceivably contribute to a fairer, cleaner and safer world.”
When asked how the institutions deliver such things the 37 leading fans-of-fiction pointed out that “magical powers always find a way.”
The EU contributes to a fairer, cleaner and safer world by harnessing the powers of the voodoo spirit M’buudi, it is claimed.
A safer world is delivered by ensuring that the world’s rapists, terrorists and murderers are evenly distributed over the world. This will make Europe less safe, admits Demon Chief Bulstrode Warluk, but he and his fellow Religious leaders “don’t give a shit about that.”
