After a convivial dinner with the spirit of actor Paul Newman this week, Mitt Romney has told press that his hopes for a blockbuster Mitt Romney biographical movie have increased.
2012 presidential candidate Mitt Romney has entertained idle thoughts of a blockbuster Mitt Romney bio-flick for over forty years.
After discussions over dinner with what he claims to have been the spirit of Paul Newman, who died in 2008, Romney has indicated that he believes we are closer than ever to a blockbuster Romney movie being green-lit.
“I’m confident we can finally get this off the ground,” said Romney after his meeting with the ghost of Newman this week, “we had a thorough and very in-depth discussion about it,” he continued.
“I’ve had a wonderful evening with the ghost of a great actor,” Romney said, “we had a discussion about my proposed movie and it has been enlightening and interesting and engaging. I have enjoyed it very, very much.”
Sources suggest that Romney’s confidence in his movie is such that he may announce plans for a Romney cinematic universe in the very near future. “A cinematic universe,” said one anonymous source, “of unimaginable richness and emotional heft.”
An alleged leak of an early draft of a Romney movie, several years ago, revealed a story revolving around Romney’s hundred-year war against a galactic villain known only as ‘The Villain’. Romney’s ideas, however, are believed to have moved on since, and many different Romney movie ideas have been floated by him in the last decade.
Opponents of the Romney movie continue to tweet #NeverRomney.
