State-of-the-art augmented reality goggles have allowed South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley to control what she sees and what she does not see in the 2016 election cycle.
The augmented reality goggles are understood to have a variety of settings, one of which allows the wearer to remove unwanted data from their visual field and, elsewhere, insert and exaggerate data in line with the wearers’ preferences.
In an interview Governor Nikki Haley made it clear that her reality, with the help of her state-of-the-art goggles, was one in which Donald Trump was a horned demon that regularly ‘incites violence’ and where news of violent anti-Trump protests have been removed and replaced with pretty pictures of flowers and rainbows.
The augmented reality goggles also help the wearer to engage in lateral thinking allowing them to connect events and ideas that are usually regarded as having no connection. In this case Governor Haley and her augmented reality goggles linked Donald Trump’s ‘tone while campaigning’ to the 2015 Charleston Church massacre.
“I know what that rhetoric can do,” the Republican governor told The Associated Press on Thursday. “I saw it happen,” she added, referring to an augmented reality occurrence in which Donald Trump’s tone of voice murdered 168 innocent magical flying unicorns.
