From The Daily Mail:
Outrage at Martin Luther King Jr. bust at the University of South Florida ‘disrespected’ with a Donald Trump ‘Make America Great Again’ hat
Outrage… is a very common emotion these days. Especially on campus. If you’d read the book that did the trench run and destroyed the Death Star, you’d know that.
Some users have slammed it for being ‘disgusting’ and ‘offensive’. Pslongley wrote: ‘Such utter ignorance, and this from students. Standards at this institution must be abysmal. Shame’, and fusingpines added: ‘Even Mr. King would not approve of this bulls***.’
It seems then that some people (the usual crowd, I expect) consider the hat offensive. If it was a #blacklivesmatter hat no doubt it would have been fine. Other people think the whole Trump-hat-on-MLK is great!

And carsonnj123 posted: ‘Thank you to this “MLK” statue person! (whoever he is??)…The only initials that will be remembered 50 years from now: DJT! #Trump2016!.’
And that’s what we call a Trump Hat Dialectic… A dialectic (Greek: διαλεκτική) being, as you know, a discourse between two or more people holding different points of view about a subject but wishing to establish the truth through reasoned arguments.
This is perfectly illustrated, as always, by the Hodge Twins:
