So, first this happened:
“An attacker shot and killed a soldier guarding the National War Memorial. A gunman then raced into the parliament building, where witnesses said up to 50 shots were fired before he was himself shot dead by the House of Commons Sergeant-at-Arms, Kevin Vickers. The dead shooter was named by an official as 32-year-old Canadian national Michael Zehaf-Bibeau.”
And everyone noticed the attacker was a Muslim. As such attackers tend to be. And we all thought that was a pretty good explanation. Afterall, Islam is an inherently violent religion. But it turns out we were wrong… there’s a better explanation…
Newest form of white privilege: converting to Islam, committing heinous act, dying, letting all the brown/black people take the heat for it.

So now it all makes perfect sense! It’s a scheme by white people – I guess I missed the memo – to screw with Islam. Make it seem like it’s a violent, goofy, retarded religion, by converting to it and then doing heinous violent stuff. AND then blame it on brown people, who were peacefully going about their business the whole time. Well, I guess we’ve been caught out. Time to move on to the next plan: put on blackface and go out looting or something.
White people, in disguise
Notes: From here are some damn good twitter responses:

@MazMHussain Oh jeepers, you caught onto our plan to discredit Islam. Guess it’s back to watching reruns of ‘Friends’ now, Mr Smartypants.

First Macklemore, now this. White people ruin everything. https://t.co/YpOvrIxBHz

@MazMHussain So converting to Islam is definitely not a good idea for crazy honkies?

.@MazMHussain I’ve heard of whitewashing before, but this is a whole new level of hilarity.
